We believe in complete privacy. Because our app is designed to work offline without user accounts, we do not collect, store, or share your personal data.
1. No Data Collection
We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from you.

• No Accounts: You do not need to create an account to use Kaeru.
• No Uploads: We do not upload your flashcards, learning progress, or custom decks to our servers.

2. Where Your Data is Stored
All data generated within the app (including your study progress, custom decks, and settings) is stored locally on your device.
Because we do not sync your data to a cloud server, we do not have access to your data. This also means that if you delete the app or lose your device, your data may be lost unless you have backed up your device using Apple’s standard iCloud Backup features.
3. Third-Party Services
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to outside parties. The app does not integrate with third-party advertising networks or analytics platforms that track individual user behavior.
4. Children’s Privacy
Our app is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or any age), as we do not collect personal information from anyone.
